Pros: This docking station arrived promptly, decently packed and in apparent good condition. It does look sharp, and seems to do its job well. Have tried the drive clone function, following the manufacturer's guidance as written by using larger "target" drives. Source drive was a 2.5" WD 320 Gig, configured as an NTFS boot drive with two partitions (my backup for an auxiliary system). Both target drives were 3.5" HGST, one 3Tb, the other 4Tb. Both were "refurbs" bought thru Newegg and verified upon arrival using WD's Data-lifeguard software, and initiated as GPT drives.īoth clones appeared to run as intended, except that the created partitions on the target drives were NTFS, not GPT. Thus, the full capacities of the target drives were not recognized by the system (W7 Ultimate). ![]() I reset to GPT using Acronis DD-12 without any difficulty. The clone partitions were identical in size to the originals. ![]()
